My Jux Website

I'm sorry I hadn't posted anything about it before, but I had made a website using Jux a while back and have been working on it every once in a while.  I haven't been doing too much with it, but here it is.  ;)

Baby ABBA

ABBA were very cute as babies, weren't they?  ^_^

Bjorn as a baby.

Agnetha as a baby.
Benny as a baby.

Frida as a baby

"Yes, I'm the Arbiter and I know best..."

There is this song from Bjorn and Benny's musical, Chess, called "The Arbiter", featuring Bjorn Skifs on lead vocals.  I remember listening to it a while back and then I went kind of overboard over it.  I don't really like the song, I just went overboard on the title "The Arbiter".  Now my "Roller Coaster Tycoon" amusement park is called "The Arbiter Fun Park". Every single ride has something to do with The Arbiter...

So, I've decided to share this video with you.

Benny Thursday #4

"I Know Him So Well", a song written for the musical "Chess" by Bjorn, Benny, and Tim Rice.  I bet Agnetha and Frida would sound better singing this.

12,000 Views Already!

Woohoo!  I wasn't really paying attention to how many views I had so far until a few minutes ago.  12,000!  Thanks everyone!  ^_^

Send Birthday Wishes To Agnetha!

Agnetha's birthday in 1974
Send birthday wishes to Agnetha!  I'll probably sent birthday wishes when it's closer to her birthday.  :)

More ABBA Drawings! + My Big ABBA Picture

Alright everyone!  Yesterday, I scanned in more of my ABBA Drawings, and today I FINALLY took a picture of

MY PRIDE AND GLORY!!

So, here's the regular pictures first. ^_^

It might be hard to see, but I actually wrote Agnetha's name in the style she had on the "Wrap Your Arms Around Me" album.  :)

This is a picture of Linda and Agnetha in 2009.  I think this is one of my favorites from this batch of pictures.

This is also one of my favorites.  :)

Frida and Benny came out pretty good on this picture. :)

Benny looks a bit..  odd.  :P

I'm positive that the scanner is ruining my pictures!  This picture looks a lot better in real life.  :)

I'm sure that Frida  would love this picture if I showed it to her.   :)

I like the way Frida's lipstick came out on this one.   :)

Frida's mouth looks a bit odd...  By the way, does the smiley face on my signature look a bit like my Bjorn doll's face?  Hee hee...
  And now,

MY PRIDE AND GLORY!!!

This is my favorite drawing of all time!   It's also the biggest I've got so far.  :)

Benny Thursday #3

For this Benny Thursday, I'm going to compare the BAO singing Ring Ring and ABBA signing Ring Ring.

BAO

ABBA
Of course, since I like ABBA better, I think the ABBA version sounds a lot better... besides, it was recorded first.  :)

Agnetha Interview with English Translation

Thanks to SADL00KINGMOON for the translation and video!  :)  It's nice to know what Mats Ronander (ABBA's Guitar player from 1978 to 1982) is doing nowadays!

Benny Thursday

For this Benny Thursday, I've decided to do this video of Helen Sjoholm singing "Story of Heart" live, written by Bjorn and Benny. :)

The Strange Thing About "I Am Just A Girl"

Everytime I listen to "I Am Just A Girl", a nice song with Agnetha on lead vocals from 1973, I always listen closely to Agnetha's nice vocals.

But if you listen closely, you hear Bjorn singing along in the background.  It is really strange to hear a man saying, "I am jut a girl, not the kind of woman men would like to meet."  It just doesn't make sense.

I'm guessing that Bjorn recorded himself singing so that Agnetha would be able to copy the way he was pronouncing the English words - besides, that was their first album in English.  Probably Bjorn and Benny thought that no one would really listen to Bjorn singing in the background, so the just left it.  :P

More ABBA Drawings :D

Here are more ABBA drawings that I finally scanned in.  :D Don't worry, I've got more on the way!  ;)

I did something wrong with this picture...  I think its the eyes...  They're probably too big..  :P

I drew this earlier today because I was so happy about the new pictures from Agnetha's website, Agnetha.com!

This is a random cartoon I drew earlier this morning. :)

Here's another random drawing.  Notice that Bjorn and the Hello Kitty couch both look the same..  Tee hee...

I really like the way the way this picture came out. :)

Bjorn doesn't look so good, but Agnetha looks so cute!

This one of Agnetha I think looks really good.  The mouth is just a tiny bit too big, but it looks so realistic.  :D

I think this might be my best Frida pic yet.  Notice that there is a little cartoon Agnetha in the top right part of Frida's hair.  I was just doodling.  :)

I got the shading just right on this picture, but something is a bit off with her face.  O.o

This picture I colored in a moving car.  No wonder Frida looks a bit off...  It looks a lot better on paper.  :P

I drew this a while ago but finally colored it in today.  :D

  And now, ABBAFan456 presents....

*Drum roll*

MY PRIDE AND GLORY!

This picture is actually a lot bigger in real life, just I had to put it together using paint...  and that didn't go too well...  This picture will go up on my wall along with my

EVEN BETTER PRIDE AND GLORY

...  which is too big to scan in and upload.  I drew this really big ABBA drawing which is right now on my wall.  When I get a chance to, I'll take a picture and show you what it looks like.  :D

Stay tuned.

"The One Who Loves You Now" preview

Agnetha sounds great for a 62 year old!

"When You Really Loved Someone" Full Song

Hooray!  :D  Click here to hear!

Also, Agnetha's new album is titled "A".  If only they added a "B", another "B". and another "A" to the title.  :)

  Here's information from "ABBA-Intermezzo":

We are pleased to bring you confirmed news regarding Agnetha's much-awaited album and single releases at this time!

In Germany, Agnetha's first single off her new album will be "The One Who Loves You Now", released today, March 11, 2013. It will be downloadable from iTunes as well as other digital outlets in Germany, and radio airplay will begin as well. Other countries will see "When You Really Loved Someone" as their single release today.

The album, titled "A", will be released on May 10, 2013. It will contain 10 songs. Here is the track listing:

1. The One Who Loves You Now
2. When You Really Loved Someone
3. Perfume In the Breeze
4. I Was a Flower
5. I Should’ve Followed You Home
6. Past Forever
7. Dance Your Pain Away
8. Bubble
9. Back On Your Radio
10. I Keep Them On the Floor Beside My Bed

"I Should've Followed You Home" is a duet with Gary Barlow of Take That, while "I Keep Them On The Floor Beside My Bed" has been co-written by Agnetha herself at home in the countryside. The thoughtful-sounding "Bubble" aptly expresses Agnetha's attitude towards glamour and the limelight, "Dance Your Pain Away" is a rousing disco number, "Back On Your Radio" is crystal clear pop, while "Past Forever" is a piano-based track with its chorus containing something kind of like Agnetha's life motto: "What can't be broken: the kind of love that lasts."

Agnetha spoke about her new album at Stockholm's Grand Hotel. In the accompanying press release, she talks about how she felt when she went into the studio for the first time together with producers Jörgen Elofsson and Peter Nordahl: "The album as such didn't worry me, but my voice really did. I had not sung for such a long time, so I must have thought: What should I do if it's suddenly gone?"

"It was a good friend of mine who got all this going", explains Agnetha. "She called me and told me that Jörgen Elofsson and Peter Nordahl wanted to play a few of their compositions for me. So they came by and played three songs for me, and I just thought: 'For heaven's sake, I just have to join in'. It felt exactly like the right kind of challenge. I asked my daughter: 'What do you think? Should I do it?' and she answered: 'You should think about this thoroughly. Everything could start all over again.' The recording sessions were wonderful, but you have to face that these recordings may have consequences afterwards."

Read much more of Agnetha's comments on her new album in our next ABBA Fan Club issue No. 69! We will have single artwork for you later today.

Here are the lyrics for the song:

When you really loved someone

Soul searching
Heartbroken
Eyes open
Some say
You’re only crying in the dark

Life changes, rearranges
Time passes
Some say
You’re only crying in the dark

He promised you his love would last forever
The day he said goodbye
All you wanted
Was to lay down and die

When you loved someone
Really loved someone
And you lost that one
Well, then nothing really matters
No forgiveness, no politeness
No one else to take his place
No one, no one
Oh-ooh

Come together, honey
Let him go now, honey
Save your heart
They say
No more crying in the dark

Gotta break loose, have some fun
Let yourself go
Come undone
I know your friends mean well, but
Ooh

When you loved someone
Really loved someone
And you lost that one
Well, then nothing really matters
No forgiveness, no politeness
No one else to take his place
No one, no one
When you really loved someone

Loved someone
You’ll never be the same

Hmm…
When you loved someone
Really loved someone
And you lost that one
Well, then nothing really matters
No forgiveness, no politeness
No one else to take his place
No one, no one
No one
When you really loved someone.

Oh yeah, now Agnetha has an official website, coming out tomorrow.  Another piece of information is that Agnetha's album comes out May 10th, 2013. Yipeeeeeeeeee!!!

ABBA's 10th Anniversary Interview - 1982

This is just a playlist of an interview from back in 1982.  :)

In part three when ABBA were using the "Interview Machine", I can't imagine Bjorn being a train driver.

When the "Interview Machine" asked "Who do you admire the most?" (you see Frida pointing towards herself), Agnetha replies, "Myself!" and walks away.  She's so self-centered... :)

Benny Thursday

Since I've decided to do Benny things every Thursday, here is my first Benny post with nice Benny pics.  Benny, I hope that what I'm doing makes up for all the blogs and channels that you were supposed to have about you.  ;)
