Please keep your comments related to the blog's content. For example, I run multiple blogs and don't particularly want comments that have to do with one of my other blogs on a blog that has nothing really to do with the other. I might share posts because they're all my blogs, but please, keep your comments related. :)
Please don't be surprised if I don't publish your comments right away! I see every comment and will always get to them as soon as possible, just not all the time. I'm a busy person when I'm not blogging. ;)

So, I've been seeing a couple of people recently on TikTok talking about the musical Chess and specifically the song "One Night in Bangkok" labelling both as problematic for a reason. I don't see the issue that much but, I wonder what your response to that is?
ReplyDeleteI can understand that perhaps the song might have some racial stereotypes, although I've noticed it more in the music video than the actual song, but I certainly don't think Tim Rice or Bjorn meant offense by anything either. Reading through the lyrics I don't really see anything that stands out as problematic, but I'm also not of the races that are mentioned in the songs, so I can't be the one to determine if there is racism or not.
