Happy 74th birthday, Bjorn!

Today we celebrate Bjorn Ulvaeus' 74th birthday!  Happy birthday Bjorn! :D  I hope he has an amazing day spent celebrating with his friends and family. :)

For his birthday, I've drawn this digital drawing of him.  I did draw this picture once before in 2013,being one of my first proper realistic drawings, but it didn't really come out all that great, so I was quite happy to do it again in digital.

(I meant to post this two days ago but I forgot, whoops!)

Two months ago my YouTube channel reached 5,000 subscribers which is absolutely amazing.  Just a couple of days ago, my channel went up to 6,000 (more like 6,052 at this point)!  I am just so surprised, amazed, honored that there are so many people who subscribe to my channel.  I get so many notifications every day because so many people subscribe to me on a daily basis.  It's crazy and I am just so thankful to everyone for subscribing to me.

At the end of all my videos, I never tell anyone to "hit that subscribe button" or "click the notification bell" (not that there is anything wrong with people who do say that) because I don't like telling people what to do and make them do things that they don't have a requirement to do.  My YouTube channel is just something I do in my free time - I make random videos, some that analyze ABBA's songs, some compilations, and also some non-ABBA sings like drawing videos and other singers I'm into, and the fact that people enjoy it and want to see more makes me really happy. 

So thank you so much for subscribing and enjoying my content.  I really appreciate it.

My Entire Collection

It took me just over a week, but I finally got around to writing this post. :D  As I like to do whenever my blog anniversary comes around, I wanted to share my entire, updated ABBA collection.

Starting off is the great wall of ABBA, aka my bedroom wall with three huge posters pinned to them, haha.  (Also are a bunch of taped up printouts that I've had on my wall for years!)

Since last year, I've gotten two new records, bringing my collection to 5 records.  (Maybe I'll someday be able to get all of ABBA's albums in record format?)

And my most prized possessions, ABBA's autographs.  Still can't believe I actually have all four of their autographs. :O  It amazes me every time I look at them.

And last but certainly not least, my ABBA dolls. :)

Also to make things a little easier for me in the future, I've also created a new page for my collection.  I've wanted to make a collection page since forever, but only got around to creating it now. I'm certainly not trying to brag about my things, and if you want to, go and check it out here. :)

Happy 45th Anniversary, ABBA!

Today marks 45 years since ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest with their incredible hit, Waterloo.  It was an absolutely iconic performance and ABBA were launched into immediate fame.

To celebrate, I drew this drawing.  It took quite a long time to get this drawing done as I had decided to try out a new style, but I'm happy with the end result.  I hope you enjoy.

Happy 69th Birthday, Agnetha!

Today, Agnetha celebrates her 69th birthday, and I hope she has an absolutely incredible day with friends and family.  I drew this digital drawing of Agnetha in honor of her birthday, and I hope you all enjoy. :)

New Blog Theme

I finally got around to taking some new pictures of my collection, and while I haven't gotten around to actually writing up that collection post, I did get around to making a new header and background.

I opted for a very simplistic header this time around, but there's always a possibility that I might go in a try to make it a tiny bit fancier.  Either way, I hope you like my new blog theme. :)

7th Blog Anniversary

So besides being April Fools day, April1st is also the day I created my blog. 7 years ago today, I set up ABBAFan456's blog.  The main purpose of the blog I think was to share drawings, and with Agnetha's birthday coming up just a couple of days after, I wanted to share a drawing I did for a birthday.  But seeing as I had just created my ABBA dolls, I decided to share them as my first ever blog post.

Normally to celebrate my blog anniversary, I switch up my blog theme, and also I wanted to share photos of my collection it has since expanded since the last time I took photos of all my items last year.  Unfortunately, I got hit with a cold which is why I haven't done of any of those things yet.  It doesn't mean I won't, it just means it's being delayed, haha.  Honestly I quite like my current blog theme so I don't necessarily have to change it, just I've been doing it for a long time so I will get around to doing it eventually. 

Anyways, expect a new theme maybe this week or next and hopefully I should be able to take a photo of all my ABBA things soon as well.  Until then, happy 7th anniversary to me. :)
